We are in process of restructuring the MS and will be introducing another facility for those devotees who have been in ISKCON for less than two years and are chanting less than 16 rounds of the Hare Krishna maha mantra. As a result, devotees need to be chanting 16 rounds and have been in ISKCON for 2 years before joining the MS.
It is a 52 week course that will be operating every fortnight and will equip devotees with the training that will help them then join the MS if appropriate. At the end of the 52 week course, the course leader will guide those devotees as to which path would be the most suitable for them.
If the above applies to you, Do NOT complete the MS registration form but instead, send us a blank email just with "52 week course"
in the subject line and we will contact you as soon as we have more details. We hope to have the course running by January 2017.
In the meantime there are numerous other facilities such as morning classes at the Manor, College of Vedic Studies courses and Sangas.
We hope to be able to update you in next few months.
Thank you very much, Your servants, Mentorship Team
If you’re a committed devotee, chanting at least sixteen rounds a day of the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra on beads and looking for occasional support in your spiritual practise, you might like to find out more about Bhaktivedanta Manor’s Mentorship System. It’s a new, helpful network of friendly devotees that functions alongside the sanga groups.
Mentors are devotees who have been requested by the Mentorship Team to help others. They have experience and enthusiasm, and can offer tips on daily sadhana practise and spiritual guidance if you need it. You will be able to get together with your mentor as part of a small group fortnightly. You can also meet your mentor one-to-one for personal advice.
If you’d like to find out more please watch the video
that introduces how it works, there is also a manual
containing FAQs, details of mentors and an invitation to join
by choosing your personal mentor. If you prefer, paper versions of the manual, mentor details (inc photos) and registration forms are available from the Manor reception desk
. Remember it’s NOT a permanent commitment and you can change mentors whenever you need to.
Members of the Mentorship System will be invited to exclusive programmes with some of the most distinguished leaders of ISKCON.
So why not give this exciting project a try and you might be surprised how much you like it!
