Early Morning Programme

It’s been over a year and half since those of us not living at Bhaktivedanta Manor have been able to come to the morning programme, so we are very happy to welcome you to the morning programme on Sundays at Bhaktivedanta Manor.

Please Note:

  • Entrance via Sri Krishna Haveli
  • Proof of Negative Lateral Flow Test done in last 3 days (photo / message / card) on arrival – (alternatively test kits will be provided, arrive 20 minutes early to do the test on site)
  • Masks must be worn indoors at all times.
  • You will be able to stay for the whole duration of the booking
  • Singing out loud is not allowed indoors.
  • No bowing down or sitting down in the temple room (Sri Krishna Haveli will have chairs & cushions for class & japa)
  • The residents will have a separate programme.
  • Access limited to Sri Krishna Haveli & Temple room

4 Parts (book the parts that you will attend)

Mangal Arati – (4:30am – 5:30am)

Mangal Arati, Nrsimha Prayers & Tulsi Puja in temple room.

Japa – (5:30am – 6:50am)

In Sri Krishna Haveli Kirtan Hall & Courtyard

Deity Greeting & Guru Puja – (6:55am – 7:30am)

Greeting the deities (govindam prayers)

Guru Puja & Offering flowers to Srila Prabhupada

Class – (7:30am – 9:00am)

CC Class in the Sri Krishna Haveli

Breakfast in courtyard for all class attendees

Darshan available between 7:30am & 7:45am

KINDLY NOTE: YOU MUST HAVE A TICKET & A MASK TO ENTER THE TEMPLE. 

What to expect on arrival

In line with our risk assessment and COVID plan, you and your travelling party will need to:

1. Show your valid ticket – WITHOUT A VALID TICKET FOR ALL OF YOUR TRAVELLING PARTY YOU WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY

Visitors are to arrive 10 minutes prior to their time on the ticket. You will not be allowed entrance to the site if you arrive earlier.

2. Have your individual temperatures checked with a simple non-touch thermometer. If anyone in your party exceeds the normal temperature of >37.8c degrees or more, your party WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ACCESS. If you do not have symptoms and history of contact, you will then proceed to the car park.

3. For everyone’s safety, please strictly follow the instructions of the volunteers

It is absolutely mandatory that face masks be worn for the duration of your visit.

4. Devotees will guide you through the morning programme. At this time we ask that you:

  • maintain social distancing between you and other individuals i.e. 2m gap – the markings on the floor will help you maintain the distance (families can stand together)
  • do not stop to speak to others who have come / are leaving darshan
  • In line with government guidance, please refrain from singing out loud
  • Please try and avoid touching any surfaces

5. Where required access to toilets will be made available.

6. Finally, please stay within the temple room and Sri Krishna Haveli areas and do not attempt to visit other parts of the temple or speak to the residents.
