Bhakti Seva Day

bhaktiseva-27th

This year as ISKCON celebrates its 50th anniversary we are inviting everyone to render some extra hours of seva (service).

Over time, many of you have contributed tremendously by serving at our busy festivals, attending to thousands of guests and ensuring successful celebrations – all of which comes with its own pleasures and pressures. We thought it would be nice to have a day of service away from the festival hustle-bustle, so we can relish doing some outdoor service together.

Come and Experience the Joy of Devotion.

Date: 27th November 2016

Time: 10:00 am to 1:00 pm followed by prasadam

Main service areas: gardening, goshalla, farming, cleaning and maintenance.

Reporting area: In front of the main kitchen

Join us for a day of cleaning, gardening, and farming email your attendance to volunteer@krishnatemple.com

Volunteer Fayre

Wednesday, July 9th, 2014

Come and volunteer this Janmashtami, and get the chance to serve Lord Krishna. Help us make the festival a great success!

Whatever you think volunteering is, it’s time to broaden your mind. Our amazing volunteers get involved in hundreds of ways – from stewarding on the day, to helping cook in the kitchen; from working in our offices, to manning the shop. Whatever your interests, whatever your talents, volunteering can be one of the most rewarding investments you’ll ever make so come to the fayre and join us.

If you have family or friends who would like to volunteer for the FIRST time, please ask them to attend our Volunteer Fayre and training on 20th July. If they already know which area they want to serve, then they can opt to come for the training and registration only.

Fayre and meeting the team leaders : 11:30 – 12:30

Training and registration : 12:30 – 2 pm

Venue: Tent (Janmastami Krishnaland/ children’s area)

PS – This training is compulsory for all new volunteers and also those who have volunteered in 2012 and prior.

If you have volunteered before please get in touch with your team or email us for training and registration dates.

Please visit our website for further details and regular updates.
